1. Tell us few words about yourself and your passion regarding Android.
I have been developing mobile apps since the early days of feature phones with J2ME. I have moved since then, to several different mobile platforms, having though, a strong preference for Android. During the years I have developed several mobile apps and libraries focusing on different mobile sectors. I have a strong interest in mobile monetization tactics and trends and how they are embedded in an app’s design especially in an Android environment where more flexibility and options can be applied on the different formats and techniques used.

2. What was the most difficult task that you have faced as a developer or in your activity ?
As a developer,one of the most difficult challenges is to overcome the fragmentation issues on Android through an SDK that runs on the view level in an agnostic environment. Moreover, day to day interaction with other fellow app developers through Pollfish network, created a better understanding on problems that exist on the Android ecosystem, especially in terms of monetization.

3. What is the most interesting part in your presentation which would catch the attention of your audience ?
In this session we will cover an overview of the current state of the ecosystem and the different available monetization models and trends. Over the course of the session we will present several examples and techniques that can be used, along with common pitfalls. Starting from topics like first app user experience, integration of social mechanisms, localization, driving of user behavior and others, we will conclude with tips and tricks on how to design and form a successful monetization strategy.
